who is willowbrook?

Hello! I'm Willowbrook, sometimes known as Willy Weepers, sometimes just known as Melody (yes, thats my birth name, my parents knew what they were doing). I'm a 23-year-old queer Canadian folk musician, visual artist, graphic designer, and clown! I live many lives and practice many artistic mediums as I have my whole life. 

I got a Marketing Diploma from Saint Clair College and am back again to study Animation! I've only just begun, but I'm loving it, so keep your eyes peeled for some animations down the line ;)

In the last 5 years of being Willowbrook, I've recorded an EP in Boston with Plaid Dog Studios, I've released 2 EPs, 7 singles, gained over 2 million streams across platforms, gone on tours across Ontario, and I even got nominated for Music Video of the Year by Folk Canada for my 'Waltz of the Birds and the Bees' music video!! All in all, it's been an amazing journey. Even through chronic health scares and loss in mobility, I am so extremely thankful to have the arts to lean on, and I am excited to share with everyone the art that I will continue to create!​
