2025 was a wild and bittersweet year!
I started off the new year unable to work due to the progression of a connective tissue disorder and poured my heart soul and all my newfound free time into creating art and music for the world! I went back to school to finish the diploma I dropped out of in 2023, watched my sister graduate, celebrated my grandparents 65th anniversary, briefly fostered the cutest bestest dog ever (I wish I could have kept her forever </33)
I made a lot of music with a lot of good friends! Made new ones and strengthened old ones! I was nominated for a Folk Canada award and travelled to Ottawa!
There was lots of loss and pain this year, but there was also a lot of freedom and joy. I can’t help but feel blessed despite the downs and the scary world around us. There’s always light at the end of the tunnel if you know what to look for 🤟
To a new year full of joy, discomfort, and success, a year of friends and family, self expression and love
Let’s make this a good one!!!
